Basic research has shown a general IVF cycle ranges from £1,000 to £10,000+. Remember you may need to add the cost for drugs and later tests too.

Ok, here’s a list of things you are likely to pay for:

1. Overall treatment
2. Drugs
3. Internal Scans – average 4
4. Calling your clinic regularly - phone costs
5. Trips to scan clinic in UK
6. Flights/Train - minimum x 2 trips each
7. Hotel – 2 trips each
8. Eating & drinking – 3 meals a day x 5-7 days
9. Entertainment – internet access, movies, magazines, etc (it all adds up)
10. Transfers – airport to hotel to clinic to hotel
